Barrier Games

 

Today we did barrier games with Mrs Minehan. I was partnered up with Sora and you can go check out her blog post Click here. We had to move shapes on our screens and then we had to describe how to do it to our partner. For Example: The yellow dinosaur goes in the bottom right hand corner and the tree in bottom left hand corner. The one I liked the most where you had to say where all of the pictures went. I learnt about how tricky it is to give instructions when you can't see what the other person is doing and when they are facing a different direction. Have you ever played a barrier game?

Anmation

                     This week with Mrs Minehan we made a morphing animation. First we had to decide on what we were morphing into and then we slowly had to turn into what we chose. Some people made their character change onscreen others made their characters go behind something and come back out as something else. Have you ever Created an animation?           

Fact or Opinion / Coast to Coast

This week with Mrs Mineham we were doing fact or opinion on the Coast to Coast.  A fact is something that is true.  You can usually verify that a fact is true.  An opinion is what someone may think.  For example,  "I think the Coast to Coast is a waste of time."  is an opinion.   The image above is all of the facts and opinions that I found. Last week when Mrs Minahim  came in she told us about a website that removes the background from the image. Then we had to come up with 5 pictures and we had to put yourself in the pictures it was really fun. we had to make it look like we were actually where the picture was taken. it was faux photography.

This term we have been doing the Matific competition and so far our school is coming first place. Today is the last day for the competition this year, I am in seventieth place for year fours.

Cybersmart Art

Today Mrs Minehan talked to us about the images we use off the internet. We learnt that it is best to create our own, so she showed us how to download an image from the Explore tool onto Google Drawing and then we made it our own by using the Pollyline line tool to draw over it and colour it in. It was so much fun. Have you ever made your own images like this? My favourite part was to colour in the dragon in.
