  2. Kia ora Elizabeth,
My name is Kieryn and I will be working with Kaniere School to comment on your blog posts over the next two terms.
Wow, you have done an outstanding job creating this slideshow based on the phrase ‘Are you in the right place at the right time online?’!
I really like how you have designed your title slide with an image of your face thinking and the caption ‘Am I in the right place at the right time?’. This shows that you understand the task you have been set, and are really thinking about what are the correct websites to be using!
Epic, the Class Learning Site, Blogger, Google Drive and Gmail are all fantastic sites for you to be using, and I know this because of the excellent blurbs you wrote for each website.
You mentioned how your blog helps you to share your learning with everybody, and you are able to show your viewers all of the work you have done for that week.
Computers weren’t invented until 1938, and in the space of less than a 100 years we are now able to do all of these incredible things with technology. What kind of things can you imagine will be around in another 100 years?
You’ve done a fantastic job on this slideshow, keep up the great effort!

    1. Hi Kieryn, thank you for commenting on my blog. I'm not sure what they will invent in the next 100 years but computers could become a part of our bodies ...yuck!

    2. Kia ora Elizabeth,
Thank you so much for replying to my comment! It is so awesome to be able to start these small conversation threads and find out all about your learning!
In my previous comment I mentioned how fast technology has been evolving, and how less than 100 years ago computers weren’t even invented yet. I asked you what kind of technology you thought would be around in the next 100 years, and was very surprised by your idea of computers becoming a part of our bodies.
When I first read what you wrote, I smiled and thought how crazy it would be to have a computer as part of my body. I was thinking this would mean a robotic arm or leg, but then this got me thinking about prosthetics, and how they are a form of technology which is a part of an individual's body.
Over the Summer, I was commenting on blog posts which were a part of the Summer Learning Journey. One of the activities involved was based on prosthetic hands, so I have included the link here if you would like to check it out!
Keep up the great work Elizabeth!
