Anmation

This week with Mrs Minehan we made a morphing animation. First we had to decide on what we were morphing into and then we slowly had to turn into what we chose. Some people made their character change onscreen others made their characters go behind something and come back out as something else. Have you ever Created an animation?

  1. Hi Lizzie, No I havent made an animation before but when I was your age we used to make flip books. Animations are the digital equivalent to flip books. Have you ever made a flip book before?

  2. Kia ora Elizabeth,
Well done on creating such a fantastic animation!
I really like the way you have set this animation up with your character moving into the phonebox and then coming out as a dog. This was such a clever idea, and you should be extremely proud of both your efforts and how well executed this animation turned out to be.
I noticed in your slideshow that your character started to get smaller as she walked towards the phone box. Why exactly was this?
I also noticed how the dog has multiple different colours all over him. Did you do this, or was this how the image was when you got it?
Making an animation seems like it would be a lot of hard work, and I say this after looking at the amount of slides you have in your slideshow! 220 slides definitely makes it a large slideshow, however all of the slides work together in order to create a fantastic animation.
What was the hardest part of making this animation?
Do you think you could have made this animation using less slides? Why/why not?
If you were to make an animation again, what would you do differently and why?
It would be awesome if you could reply to this comment and let me know!
    Keep blogging!
    Nga mihi
